Filter Media, such as Diatomaceous Earth (DE) and other mineral based products.

DE is a naturally occuring product that physically and mechanically filters all manner of beverages. Perlite is its fused aluminium equivalent. Preference for the Perlite product is based on safety and ease of use with lower dust levels produced.
