NucleoBent is a fining agent for protein stabilization made of a special granular bentonite with the following peculiarities:

 

Þ      The granular form reduces drastically the dust during its use.

Þ      High dispersability that enhances the montmorillonite’s colloidal characteristics, increasing the adsorption capability and the clarifying effect.

Þ      Low dosage because of its high deproteinization capability, also enhanced by its instant despersion.

Þ      Reduced rehydration time compared to more traditional bentonites.

Þ      High purity level, which avoids problems odors and undesired matters in the must or wine.

 

NucleoBent’s characteristics make this special bentonite ideal for protein stabilization of musts, wines and vinegars, where it can be used for:

 

Þ      Block the endogenous or exogenous enzymes activity (oxidase, pectinase, β-glucosidase, β-glucanase);

Þ      Possible application when the possible rehydration time is short and the use of a high dispersion and high deproteinization bentonite is required;

Þ      Preventive action against the “taste of light”. 

 

Dosage and instructions for use - 10-40   g/hL

NucleoBent rehydrates quickly in cold water in a ratio of 1:10 but it would increase its efficiency with a proportion of 1:20. If dispersed with a mechanical stirring device, it can be used a little after its homogeneous dissolution in water.
